1. How are items registered? How are Tracer Tags activated?
You can register your Tracer Tags in 2 ways: Go to the Web site at http://www.tracertags.com, or call 877-687-2237 in the US and Canada. Each Tracer Tag Registration Number is unique.

2. I found something with a Tracer Tag, now what?
Call the Toll Free number on the tag or go to the Tracer Tags Web Site and alert the system that an item as been found. Tracer Tags will: Contact the owner directly, and either a Tracer Tags representative will contact you, or the owner of the item to arrange for it's return.

3. I lost my Tracer Tagged item, now what?
Call the Toll Free number on the tag or go to the Tracer Tags Web Site and report your lost item. When your item is reported found you will need to pay a incident fee of $12.00. We will then assist you in retrieveing your belongings.

4. How does Tracer Tags help me get lost items back?
Tracer Tags' database keeps all your personal contact information stored – privately and securely in a Secure Lock database (SSL). Tracer Tags notifies you when your tagged item is found and will assist you or arrange for its return. Finders are rewarded with a $20 package Tracer Tags. Any additional reward is at your own descretion.

5. Are Tracer Tags global, or just local?
You probably travel, and your items travel with you. You can get your items returned to wherever you happen to be when they're located.

6. How do you contact me if I'm traveling?
The easiest way to stay in contact is via the Tracer Tags web site. Before you leave for a trip, enter your trip itinerary information on the special Itinerary Page on the Tracer Tags site at http://www.tracertags.com/login.html. We will then be able to find you – wherever you are!
